List Of Sura's

Al-An’am (The Cattle)

6-60

And He it is Who takes you back at night (by taking away your consciousness during your sleep) and He knows how you keep yourselves busy during the day, then He raises you up therein (day, by returning your consciousness) that you may fulfill the appointed term, then towards Him is your return, then He will inform you of that which you used to do. (R 7)

Allah (SWT) causes human beings to sleep during night and He keeps them awake during the day. This process continues till death when they are returned to Him Who will inform them of their deeds.

6-61

And He is Omnipotent (All Powerful) over His servants. And protectors are sent over you by Him (and they protect you), until when death comes to one of you, Our messengers take him back (cause him to die) and they do not neglect.

Every human being appears to have protectors or monitors associated with him who protect and monitor him in accordance with his destiny decreed by Allah (SWT) till the angels of death cause him to die and return him to Allah (SWT) Who judges and settles the account of deeds by punishing, forgiving or rewarding etc.

6-62

Then they are returned to Allah their Real Guardian. Beware! His is the judgment, and He is the Swiftest in (settling) the account.

“Same to Verse No.61”

6-63

Say, “”Who delivers you from the darkness (distresses) of the land and the sea (when) you pray to Him humbly and in secret, (saying): If He delivers us from this we will definitely be of those who are grateful?””

Allah (SWT) delivers human beings from all distresses when they pray to Him still they associate partners with Him.

6-64

Say, “”Allah delivers you from it and from every distress, then (even after that) you associate partners with Him.””

“Same to Verse No.63”

6-65

Say, “”He is able to let loose on you punishment from above you or from beneath your feet or put you under the banners of (rival) parties and (thereby) make some of you taste the violence of others (as in communal riots or wars).”” See how We repeat the signs that they may understand.

Allah (SWT) can punish human beings through natural calamities or mutual clashes like wars, riots etc. These facts are denied by some.

6-66

And your people have denied it though it is the truth, say, “”I am not a trustee over you.””

“Same to Verse No.65”

6-67

For every news there is a (fixed) place/time, and you will come to know.

This verse again confirms that every happening in the universe is predestined.

6-68

Believers are to avoid the company of those who are involved in unjust talk about the Quran, so as to be careful that they too do not fall in this trap of the devil.

6-69

And those who guard (against evil) are not accountable for them in anything, but (this is only) a reminder that they may be careful.

“Same to Verse No.68”

6-70

And leave alone those who take their religion as sport and pastime and those whom the life of this world has deceived, but remind through it lest a soul be destroyed due to what it earned. There will be no guardian for it besides Allah and there will be no mediator and if it (tries to) compensate with every compensation it will not be accepted from it. Those are the persons who will be destroyed due to what they earned, there will be a drink of boiling water and a painful punishment for them because they did not believe. (R 8)

Those who are not serious about Islam and are deeply involved in the enjoyments of the life of this world are just to be reminded through the Quran so that they too could save themselves from the punishment when no one other than Allah (SWT) would be able to help them. If they are heedless inspite of being reminded then they are to be left alone.

6-71

Say, “”Shall we pray to (something), besides Allah, that neither profits us nor harms us, and shall we turn back on our heels, after Allah has guided us, like him whom the devils have made to wander in the earth in a confused (state), while his companions call him towards guidance, “”Come to us?”” Say, “”Allahs guidance is certainly the guidance, and we are commanded that we should submit to the Fosterer of the worlds,

The polytheists are informed that only Allah (SWT) can benefit or harm anyone, His guidance is the only correct guidance. Believers submit to Him worship Him and fear Him alone.

6-72

and to establish worship (salat) and to fear Him; and He it is to Whom you will be gathered.””

Allah (SWT) created the universe. The manner of His creation or destruction is that He just says ‘Be’ to whatever He wills and it comes into existence or is lost into non- existence.

6-73

And He it is Who created the skies and the earth in reality. And the day He says, “”Be,”” so it is. His word is the truth and His will be the authority the day it will be blown into the trumpet (or structure of the universe) {1}. Knower of the unseen and the seen and He is the Wise, the Informed. (P 6

Allah (SWT) speaks the truth. On the day the trumpet will be blown no one will have any authority except Him. He alone has complete knowledge, information and wisdom The word ‘Sur’ translated as ‘trumpet’, also conveys the meaning of form, structure, inclination, attraction etc. In view of this blowing into the ‘Sur’ could also convey the sense of increasing or decreasing the attraction or the gravitational pull in the whole universe which would collapse it to a point or disperse it.
Sur:

The word ‘Sur’ translated as trumpet, also conveys the meaning of form or structure and inclination or attraction. Therefore, blowing into the ‘Sur’ could also convey the sense of increasing or decreasing the gravitational force in the whole universe which would collapse it to a point, or totally disperse it.

6-74

Ibrahim (PBH) did not accept idols as gods and argued with his father in this regard. He was made to reflect on various heavenly bodies i.e. the creation and then come to the conclusion that God is He Who created the universe. His people argued with him but he declared that he was not afraid of idols or false gods.

6-75

“Same to Verse No.74”

6-76

So when the night covered him he saw a planet (Probably Venus). He said, “”This is my Fosterer,”” but when it set, he said, “”I do not love those who set.””

“Same to Verse No.74”

6-77

Then when he saw the moon rising, he said, “”This is my Fosterer,”” then when it set, he said, “”If my Fosterer does not guide me I will definitely be among the people who are astray.””

“Same to Verse No.74”

6-78

Then when he saw the sun rising, he said, “”This is my Fosterer, this is the greatest (of all I could see),”” then when it set, he said, “”O my people! I am free from that which you associate as partners (with Allah).

“Same to Verse No.74”

6-79

I turn my attention towards Him Who initiated the creation of the skies and the earth, being upright, and I am not of the polytheists.””
