Al-An’am (The Cattle)

6-160


Whoever comes with (one) good then (the reward) for him is ten (times) like it and whoever comes with (one) evil, he will be rewarded only with the like of it and they will not be dealt with unjustly.


مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا ۖ وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَىٰ إِلَّا مِثْلَهَا وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Good is multiplied by ten and rewarded and the punishment for evil is similar to it.

6-161


Say, “”My Fosterer has certainly guided me to the straight path (leading to) the established religion (consisting of) the religious dictates of Ibrahim the upright, and he was not of the polytheists.””


قُلْ إِنَّنِي هَدَانِي رَبِّي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ دِينًا قِيَمًا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

Prophet Muhammed (PBH) is asked to declare that his religion is the established religion i.e. Islam which was followed by Ibrahim (PBH) who was not a polytheist and that his Salat (worship), sacrifice, life and death are for Allah (SWT) Who has no partners.

6-162


Say, “”My worship (salat) and my sacrifice and my life and my death are for Allah, the Fosterer of the worlds,


قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

“Same to Verse No.161”

6-163


He has no partner and this I am commanded, and I am the first of those who submit (as Muslims).””


لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

“Same to Verse No.161”

6-164


Say, “”Shall I seek a fosterer other than Allah, when He is the Fosterer of everything? And every soul earns only against itself, and no bearer of a burden will bear the burden of another, then to your Fosterer will be your return, and He will inform you of that in which you differed.””


قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْغِي رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۚ وَلَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ

Everything is fostered by Allah (SWT) and everyone is responsible for his own deeds.

6-165


And He it is Who made you successors of the earth, and raised the grades of some of you above others that He may test you through that which He has given you. Your Fosterer is certainly Quick in requiting while He is (also) Protectively Forgiving, Merciful. (R 20, P 7


وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ الْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Allah (SWT) has made mankind successors (i.e. incharge of certain affairs) of this world creating among them economic, social, political, religious differences to test them as to who is grateful in success and who is patient in adversities.
