8-62
And if they intend to deceive you, then Allah is certainly sufficient for you. He it is Who strengthened you with His help and with the believers,
Allah (SWT) is sufficient to strengthen His messenger through His help and through the believers whom He had united through His message – the Quran, such unity could not have been purchased through wealth.
8-65
O prophet! rouse the believers to fight, if there are twenty patient ones of you, they shall overcome two hundred and if there are a hundred of you, they shall overcome a thousand of those who do not believe because they are a people who do not understand.
The preparation for defending and attacking the enemies of Islam should be such that one patient believer should be able to fight with ten enemies, i.e. all believers should be able to fight rest of the world as we are 1/5 th of the world population. In modern warfare a small group of highly qualified scientists and technologists is able to defend and attack very large groups and thereby dominate them. This appears to be the right approach in the present day world but unfortunately Muslims have not achieved any excellence in Science and Technology and in fact are dependent on other communities. This backwardness of Muslims appears to be a violation of the orders given in verse No 65. Allah (SWT) had lightened the burden on the companions of the Prophet (PBH) stating that one believer should be able to fight with at least two enemies of Islam.
8-67
It does not befit a prophet that he should have prisoners (of war, his purpose is to fight) to the extent that he totally dominates in the land (so as to establish his religion). You intend (to have the) apparent good of the world while Allah intends (good for you in) the hereafter and Allah is Mighty, Wise.
Instructions are given to Prophet (PBH) regarding prisoners and booty of war.
8-71
But if they intend to betray you, then they had betrayed Allah earlier, so He has given (you) power over them and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
Instructions are given to Muslims who had migrated from Makkah to Madina (Muhajiriin) and the Muslims of Madina who had helped them (Ansaar) regarding those believers who had not migrated. The Ansaar had helped the Muhajiriin to such an extent that they had to be reminded that blood relatives were nearer to each other (in rights and matters of inheritance).
