57-20
Know that the life of this world is nothing but sport and pastime and pomp and boasting among yourselves and competition for increase in wealth and children, it is like rain, the growth of vegetation through which pleases the farmer, then it dries up and you see it become yellow, then it becomes broken pieces. And in the hereafter there is severe punishment and protective forgiveness and pleasure from Allah. And the life of this world is nothing but a deceptive provision.
Life of this world is compared with vegetation which ultimately dries up and becomes pieces, it is said to be deceptive.
57-21
Be foremost in (seeking) protective forgiveness from your Fosterer and the garden, the extension of which is like the extension of the sky and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His messengers. That is the grace of Allah, He gives it to whom He wills and Allah is the Possessor of great grace.
Orders are given to be foremost in seeking the forgiveness of Allah (SWT) and asking Him for granting paradise.
57-22
No disaster befalls in the earth nor among yourselves, but it is (recorded) in a book before We bring it into existence, that is certainly easy for Allah.
Every event is already recorded.
57-24
who hoard (being niggardly) and enjoin mankind to hoard (being niggardly). And whoever turns away, then Allah is certainly Independent, the Praised.
Allah (SWT) does not like the hoarders.
57-26
And We indeed sent Nuh and Ibrahim and appointed the prophethood and the book (to remain) in their descendants, so among them are those who are guided and many of them are transgressors.
Prophethood and the Divine books remained in the decedents of Nuuh (PBH) and Ibrahim (PBH).
57-27
Then We made Our messengers to follow in their footsteps and We made Isa, the son of Maryam, to follow and gave him the Injeel,and placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him. And they invented monasticism*, We did not prescribe it for them, only to seek Allah’s pleasure, but they did not observe it with the observation due to it. So We gave to those who believed from among them, their reward, and most of them are transgressors. [* Seclusion from worldly life.]

57-28
O you who believe! fear Allah and believe in His messenger, He will give you a double portion of His mercy and He will appoint for you a light through which you will walk and He will protectively forgive you and Allah is Protectively Forgiving, Merciful,
Believers are ordered to fear Allah (SWT) and believe in prophet Muhammed (PBH), if they do this Allah (SWT) will appoint for them a light which will be a source of guidance so that the owners of the book should know that it is only Allah (SWT) Who guides.
