If any believer takes the infidels as friends he will not get anything from Allah (SWT) probably meaning any reward. In case a believer is forced by circumstances to keep social contacts with the infidels he should carefully guard himself to see that they do not inflict any loss on him due to enmity. Allah (SWT) warns to be cautious of Him because ultimately all will return to Him.”

The proof of loving Allah (SWT) is to implement the Quran (His message) in accordance with the instructions of His messenger, in which case He forgives the sins but if one turns away then Allah (SWT) does not love the infidels i.e. those who do not obey Him and His messenger.”
