And Allah created the skies and the earth in reality, so that every soul may be rewarded for that which it earned and (that) they may not be dealt with unjustly.
The purpose of the creation of the universe is to test human beings.

Then have you seen him who takes his desire for his god while Allah has left him to stray on (the basis of his) knowledge, and has set a seal on his hearing and his heart and has placed a covering on his sight? So who can guide him after Allah? Will you not then be mindful?
Some of the so –called learned people follow their own ideology and mislead themselves. See also Verse 28:50.
45-24
And they say, “”There is nothing but our life of this world, we die and we live and nothing destroys us but time,”” and they have no knowledge of that, they do nothing but guess.
Abu Hurairah (RA) reports that prophet Muhammed (PBH) had said, “Allah (SWT) says that man vilifies time (Dhar) and inflicts pain on Me, although I am Time, all the affairs are in My hands, I am the One Who alternates the day and night”. [Collected by Bukhari and Muslim]. In verse No 24 the statement, “They have no knowledge of that,” appears to mean that they have no knowledge of what ‘Time’ really means, had they the knowledge of its real meaning given by prophet (PBH) they would not have said it, because, knowing its meaning had they said it, it would be as good as, accepting that Allah (SWT) causes death, being the supreme Authority, which the infidels deny. It was reported in BBC news on 26th April 2002 that ‘TIME existed before the BIG BANG 13 to 14 billion years back.’ It is reported in another hadees in mishkat vol. P.458’There was nothing before Allah (SWT), that is before the universe came into existence, there was only Allah (SWT) that is time.’ This appears to be a scientific proof of the existence of god that is Allah (SWT).
45-27
