34-21
And he (the devil) has no authority on them, except that (through his instigations to human beings) We (come to) know (or distinguish) him who believes in the hereafter from him who is in doubt about it, and your Fosterer is a Custodian over everything. (R 2)
Believers do not follow the devil whereas infidels fall into his trap. The devil thus helps in distinguishing believers from the infidels and this appears to be one of the purposes of creating him.
34-22
Say, “”Pray to those besides Allah whom you claim (to be gods or His partners). They do not control (even) the weight of the particle in the skies or in the earth, and they do not have in them both any share, and He does not have among them any helper.””
False gods have no control on any thing.
34-23
And no recommendation will be of benefit with Him, except of him whom He will permit. At that point, when horror will be removed from their hearts, they will say, “”What did your Fosterer say?”” They will say, “”The truth.”” And He is the High, the Great.
Only those whom Allah (SWT) permits, will be able to recommend to Him for safety of some people. After this recommendation is accepted, then only horror will be removed from their hearts.
34-24
Say, “” Who provides you from the skies and the earth?”” Say, “”Allah, and certainly (either) we or you are on guidance or in clear error.””
Prophet Muhammed (PBH) is asked to communicate certain information.
34-31
And those who do not believe say, “”We will never believe in this Quran nor in (those books) which were before it.”” And if you could see when the unjust will be made to stand before their Fosterer, one turning to the other in argument. Those who were considered weak will say to those who were considered great, “”Had it not been for you, we would have been believers.””
These would be the arguments between the misleaders and their followers on the day of judgment.
34-34
And We did not send a warner to any town, but those who led a luxurious life in it said, “”We do not believe in that which you are sent with.””
Normally, those well-off in the society reject the messengers because of their pride in being wealthy and having more children, although it is Allah (SWT) Who gave them these things.
34-37
Neither your wealth nor your children (are things) through which you (can) come nearer to Us, unless (you are of those) who believe and do righteous work. So those are the persons who will have double the reward because of what they did, and they will be secure in high places.
Wealth and children are not the items through which the nearness of Allah (SWT) can be achieved, these items are right belief and righteous work.
34-38
And those who strive against Our signs to frustrate them, those will be made to be present in the punishment.
Those who work against the Quran will be punished.
34-39
Say, “” (It is) certainly my Fosterer (Who) enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His servants and straitens (it) for him (whenever He wills). And whatever you spend from anything, He replaces it, and He is the Best of providers.
Distribution of wealth is in accordance with the will of Allah (SWT) and He replaces that which is spent.
