Maryam (Mary)

19-20


She said, “”How can there be a son to me when man has not touched me and I am not one who has exceeded the limits.”” (P 15 ¼)

He said, “”(It will be) like that. Your Fosterer says that is easy for Me and that We will make him a sign for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is an affair decided.””

“Same to Verse No.16”

19-23


And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, “”I wish I had died before this and had become forgotten (as something) to be forgotten.””

Then she was called from beneath her, “”Do not grieve, your Fosterer has made a rivulet beneath you,

Then she came to her people carrying him (Isa). They (her people) said, “”O Maryam! you have come with a strange thing.

So she pointed towards him (Isa, for the explanation). They said, “”How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?””

19-30


He (Isa) said, “”I am a servant of Allah, He has given me the book and made me a prophet.
“Same to Verse No.16”

19-31


And He has made me blessed wherever I may be and has enjoined on me worship (salat) and (giving of) charity (zakat) as long as I live.

19-32


And (He has made me) dutiful to my mother and has not made me compelling (rebellious), wretched.

19-34


Such (was) Isa, the son of Maryam. (This is a) statement of the fact about which they doubt.

It is not befitting to Allah that He should take to Himself a son, glory be to Him, when He decrees an affair, He says to it only “”Be,”” so it is.

But the parties disagreed among themselves. So sorrowful will be the state of those who do not believe because of their being present on the great day.

19-38


How clearly will they hear and how clearly will they see on the day they come to Us, but this day the unjust are in clear error.

19-39


And warn them of the day of regret when the affair will be decided, and (at present) they are in a state of heedlessness and (therefore) they do not believe.
