71-20
that you may move therein on wide ways.”” (R 1)
لِتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا
“Same to Verse No.1”

71-21
Nuh said, “”My Fosterer, they disobeyed me, and followed him whose wealth and children added to him nothing but loss.
قَالَ نُوحٌ رَبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِي وَاتَّبَعُوا مَنْ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
“Same to Verse No.1”

And they planned a great plan.
وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا

71-23
And they said: Do not leave your gods, nor leave Wadd, nor Suwa nor Yagus and Yauq and Nasr [Names of false gods (deities)]
وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا
“Same to Verse No.1”

71-24
And they have misled many, and You do not (give) increase to the unjust persons in anything but error.””
وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا كَثِيرًا ۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَالًا

71-25
They were drowned because of their faults, then made to enter the fire, and they did not find for themselves any helpers besides Allah.
مِمَّا خَطِيئَاتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُوا فَأُدْخِلُوا نَارًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنْصَارًا
“Same to Verse No.1”

And Nuh said, “”My Fosterer! do not leave on the earth any dweller from among the infidels,
وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا
“Same to Verse No.1”

for if you leave them they will mislead your servants and they will not give birth to any but transgressing, ungrateful (children).
إِنَّكَ إِنْ تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا
“Same to Verse No.1”

71-28
My Fosterer! protectively forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and the believing women and do not (give) increase to the unjust persons, in anything but ruin.”” (R 2, P 28 ½)
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا
