And We have made every man’s fate (or action) to cling to his neck {2}, and We will bring out for him on the day of resurrection, a book (or a record) which he will find wide open.
These verses appear to refer to our memory which is probably serving the purpose of a record of all events in our life such as our intentions, beliefs, imaginations, planning, actions and even dreams.
Does this verse refer to destiny and memory on which every thought and action, even dreams are recorded?
