“Ibrahim and Ismael (PBT) were raising the foundations of the Kaaba obviously in compliance with the orders of Allah (SWT), still they were praying to Him for acceptance and acknowledgement of their work invoking His attributes of hearing and knowing. This clearly shows that the success of a work depends on its acceptance and acknowledgement as good by Allah (SWT), if He does not accept or acknowledge a work as good, then the whole effort becomes a waste.”
