An-Najm (The Star)
53-21
What! for you the males and for Him the females?
“Same to Verse No.19”
53-22
53-23
They are nothing but names which you have named, you and your fathers, for which Allah has not sent down any authority. They follow nothing but conjecture and that which their souls desire, though the guidance has come to them from their Fosterer.
“Same to Verse No.19”
53-24
53-25
But Allah’s is the hereafter (future) and the former (past). (R 1)
“Same to Verse No.19”
53-26
And how many an angel is there in the skies, whose recommendation will be of no use in anything, except after Allah gives permission to whom He wills and pleases.
Angels cannot recommend without the permission of Allah (SWT). Infidels give feminine names to angels without any knowledge and desire only the life of this world, therefore they are to be kept away.
53-27
Those who do not believe in the hereafter certainly name the angels with female names,
“Same to Verse No.26”
53-28
and they do not have any knowledge about it, they follow nothing but conjecture, and conjecture is certainly of no use in anything compared to the truth.
“Same to Verse No.26”
53-29
So keep away from him who turns away from Our remembrance and desires nothing but the life of this world.
“Same to Verse No.26”
53-30
That is the (ultimate) reach of their knowledge. Your Fosterer certainly knows best, him who goes astray from His way, and He knows best, him who receives guidance. (P 26 ¼)
“Same to Verse No.26”
53-31
And whatever is in the skies and whatever is in the earth is Allah’s that He may reward those who do evil for that which they did and (that) He may reward those who do good with (something) better.
Everything belongs to Allah (SWT), He knows everything, He rewards the good and punishes the evil and if He wills He can forgive.
53-32
Those who avoid great sins and indecencies except small faults, (then) your Fosterer is certainly Ample in protectively forgiving (them). He knew you best when He produced you from the earth and when you were hidden in the wombs of your mothers, therefore do not attribute purity to yourselves. He knows best him who guards (against evil). (R 2)
“Same to Verse No.31”
53-33
Did you not see him who turns his back
Man, who is niggardly by nature, is invited to reflect on the powers and favours of Allah (SWT), revealed through Musa (PBH) and Ibrahim (PBH) and finally bow down to Him.
53-34
53-35
Has he with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees?
“Same to Verse No.33”
53-36
Or was he not informed of that which was in the books of Musa
“Same to Verse No.33”
53-37
and Ibrahim, who fulfilled (his responsibility by informing):
“Same to Verse No.33”
53-38
that no bearer of burden will bear the burden of another,
“Same to Verse No.33”
53-39
and that there is nothing for man except that which he strives for
