List Of Sura's

Al-‘Imran (The Family of Imran)

3-160

“Same to Verse No.159”

3-161

And it is not (in the nature) of any prophet to cheat, and he who cheats, will (have to) bring on the day of resurrection that which he cheated, then everyone will be repaid fully for that which he earned and injustice will not be done to them.

“We had seen under Verse 159 that the messenger of Allah (SWT) was bestowed with the good quality of being soft hearted, similarly he cannot have the bad quality of cheating people. Those who please Allah (SWT) and those who displease Him are not equal, for all there are grades.”

3-162

Then, is he, who follows Allahs pleasure, like him who deserves displeasure of Allah and his settling place is hell? And it is an evil destination.

“Same to Verse No.161”

3-164

Allah did bestow a favour on the believers when He raised a messenger among them from among themselves, reading to them His statements (Quran) and purifying them and teaching them the book (laws) and the wisdom (their interpretation), and although before that they were in clear error. (P 3

See Verse 2:151.

3-165

What! when a disaster befell you, although you had afflicted (the infidels with a disaster) twice (of that which befell you), you say, “”Where from is this?”” Say, “”It is from yourselves.”” Allah certainly has power over everything.

“At Badr Muslims had inflicted heavy losses on the infidels. At Uhad the infidels inflicted losses on the Muslims because some of them disobeyed the Prophet (PBH) and preferred worldly gains. All that happened was ordered by Allah (SWT) to mark out the believers and the hypocrites who are defined as those who say things which are not there in their hearts. The time 3:145 and place 3:154 of death is destined therefore no one can escape death by sitting at home. A very strong belief in this fact can help the believers to fight in the way of Allah like the Prophet (PBH) and his companions (R.A).”

3-166

And what befell you on the day the two armies met, was with Allahs permission, that He might know (mark out) the believers,

3-168

Those who said about their brothers (who were slain in the cause of Allah), while they themselves sat at home, “”Had they obeyed us they would not have been killed.”” Say (to them), “”Then avert death from yourselves, if what you say is true.””

“Same to Verse No.165”

3-169

And do not consider, those who are slain in the way of Allah, (as) dead. No, they are alive, with their Fosterer, being provided (with sustenance),

“Those who are slain in the way of Allah (SWT) are alive and are provided with sustenance. Their bodies might have been wounded but they (i.e. their souls) are happy because of the favours of Allah (SWT).”

3-170

they are rejoicing in that which Allah has given them out of His grace and are glad regarding those who have not yet joined them from among those (believers) left behind (in the world), that there will neither be any fear on them nor will they grieve.

“Same to Verse No.169”

3-171

They are glad because of the favour of Allah with (His) grace and that Allah does not waste the reward of the believers. (R 17)

“Same to Verse No.169”

3-172

Those who responded to (the call of) Allah and the messenger, even after being wounded, for those who did good from among them and guarded (against evil) there is a great reward.

“After the battle of Uhad, the infidels on their way back, planned to return and attach Madina. When Muslims came to know this plan, inspite of being wounded they went out to fight and drive them away. When the infidels got this information they changed their plan seeing the courage of the Muslims and returned to Makkah. Muslims did not fear human beings, they feared Allah (SWT) and considered Him sufficient as a Trustee and acted boldly, the result was that they returned with favours from Allah (SWT) without any evil having touched them. The Devil causes human beings to fear his friends but believers are required to fear only Allah (SWT).”

3-173

Those to whom, (when) the people said, “”Men have gathered against you, therefore fear them,”” but (this threat) certainly increased their belief and they said, “”Allah is sufficient for us and (He is) the Most Excellent Trustee.””

3-176

“Prophet Muhammed (PBH) is being consoled not to grieve over persons who did not accept Islam. This shows the degree of sympathy he had for humanity in general. The infidels do not and cannot harm Allah (SWT) by their infidelity, in fact they are harming themselves because they will be punished for it. Allah (SWT) grants them time so that they should increase in sins and the consequent punishment. ”

3-177

“Same to Verse No.176”

3-178

And do not let those who do not believe, think that Our granting them time is good for them, We grant them time with the sole purpose that they should increase in sin and for them there is a disgraceful punishment.

“Same to Verse No.176”

3-179

“The purpose of the tussle between the believers and the infidels is to separate the good from the evil, the period of this tussle was not disclosed to the believers. Allah (SWT) discloses the unseen to whom He wills of His messengers. This much is certain and disclosed that the believers will have a great reward for their efforts.”
