In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Our Prophet (PBH), through the very first revelation of the Quran, was ordered:
“Recite in the name of your Fosterer…” (Chapter 96: Verse 1) and the name of his and our Fosterer is Allah (SWT), as is evident from the very first verse of the first chapter of the Quran:
“Praise is due only for Allah (SWT), the Fosterer of the worlds”. (Chapter 1: Verse 1)
In view of this order of Allah (SWT), we should recite/read before starting the recitation or reading of the Holy Quran which is a part of the Quran, occurring at the beginning of 113 out of 114 chapters of the Quran and also as part of Chapter 27: Verse 30 of the Quran. Through Chapter 16: Verse 98, Allah Taala further orders:
“So when you recite/read the Quran, seek the protection of Allah from the accursed devil”.
This means that we are required to pray; (Aoozu Billahi min Ash shaitaanir Rajeem) meaning: “I seek the protection of Allah from the accursed devil”, even before reciting or reading: (Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem)
Shuru Allah ke naam se jo hum per taras kha ker faida pahunchane wala hai

Praise is due only for Allah, Who created the skies and the earth and made the darkness and the light, (even) then those who do not believe equate others with their Fosterer.
Reasons for praising Allah (SWT) are given.
6-4
And there did not come to them any sign from the signs of their Fosterer but they turned away from it.
The infidels turn away from the signs of Allah (statements of the Quran, natural phenomena, miracles etc.) and deny the truth. Generations before them were destroyed due to their infidelity, they can travel in the earth and witness these historic facts. They are so staunch in their infidelity that if the Quran were written down on pages which they could feel with their hands and sent down even then they would have rejected it. Angels are sometimes sent for punishment 3:125, therefore if an angel is sent, they would be destroyed, besides, for them to see, the angel would have been sent down in the form of a man which would further confuse them. It has been the procedure of the infidels to mock at messengers and ultimately be punished.
6-12
Say, “”Whose is (all) that is in the skies and the earth?”” Say, “”Allahs.”” He has prescribed mercy on Himself. He will definitely gather you on the day of resurrection, there is no doubt in it. Those who caused loss to themselves, they will not believe.
Everything belongs to Allah (SWT) and He has prescribed Mercy on Himself i.e. He is Merciful to everyone.
6-14
Say, “”Should I take (as) a guardian (someone) other than Allah, the Initiator of the creation of the skies and the earth, when He feeds (others) and is not fed (by others)?”” Say, “”I am commanded that I should be the first of those who submit, and you should not be of the polytheists.””
When Allah (SWT) has created everything and feeds everyone then how could others be taken as guardians, which is polytheism for which and for disobeying Him there is a great punishment, he from whom this punishment is turned away has really achieved success.
6-17
And if Allah afflicts you with harm, then there is no one who can remove it but He, and if He gives you (something) good, then He has power over everything.
No one can stop Allah (SWT) from harming or benefiting anyone He likes, because He is Omnipotent (All – Powerful). He is Wise and Informed and knows how to deal with each human being i.e. His slaves.
6-19
Say, “”What thing is greater (as) witness?”” Say, “”Allah is Witness between me and you. And this Quran has been communicated to me, that with it, I should warn you and whomsoever it reaches. Do you really bear witness that there are other gods with Allah?”” Say, “”I do not bear witness.”” Say, “”He is only One God, and I am free from that which you associate as partners (with Allah).””
Allah (SWT) Who is the only God, is a witness that the Quran was revealed so that mankind could be warned through it i.e. propagation of Islam is to be done through the Quran as prophet Muhammed (PBH) did.
