Taa Haa (Taa Haa)

20-40


When your sister went and said: shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? Thus We returned you to your mother that her eye might be cooled and (that) she might not grieve. And you killed a man but We delivered you from the distress and We tried you (with a) trial, then you stayed for years among the people of Midian, then you came here according to (My) program, O Musa.

إِذْ تَمْشِي أُخْتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَنْ يَكْفُلُهُ ۖ فَرَجَعْنَاكَ إِلَىٰ أُمِّكَ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ ۚ وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا فَنَجَّيْنَاكَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا ۚ فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَىٰ قَدَرٍ يَا مُوسَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-41


And I have trained you for Myself.

وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-42


You and your brother go with my signs and do not slacken in remembering (or mentioning) Me.

اذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَأَخُوكَ بِآيَاتِي وَلَا تَنِيَا فِي ذِكْرِي
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-43


Both go to Firawn, he has certainly rebelled,

اذْهَبَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-44


but speak to him a gentle word, perhaps he may be mindful or fear.””

فَقُولَا لَهُ قَوْلًا لَيِّنًا لَعَلَّهُ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-45


They said, “”Our Fosterer! we fear that he may hasten (to do evil) to us or that he may rebel (against our message).””

قَالَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَنْ يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَا أَوْ أَنْ يَطْغَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-46


He said, “”Do not fear, I am certainly there with both of you, I do hear and see.

قَالَ لَا تَخَافَا ۖ إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَا أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-47


So go both of you to him and say: We are messengers of your Fosterer so send the children of Israel with us and do not punish them, we have come to you with a sign from your Fosterer, and peace will be on him who follows the guidance.

فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَا إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ قَدْ جِئْنَاكَ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-48


It has been communicated to us that punishment (will be inflicted) on him who denies and turns away.””

إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَّ الْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-49


He (Firawn) said, “”So who is the Fosterer of you two, O Musa?””

قَالَ فَمَنْ رَبُّكُمَا يَا مُوسَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-50


He said, “”Our Fosterer is He Who gave to everything its creation (or character), then guided (it).””

قَالَ رَبُّنَا الَّذِي أَعْطَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلْقَهُ ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-51


He said, “”Then what is the condition of earlier generations?””

قَالَ فَمَا بَالُ الْقُرُونِ الْأُولَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-52


He said, “”The knowledge of that is in a record with my Fosterer. My Fosterer neither errs nor forgets.””

قَالَ عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ رَبِّي فِي كِتَابٍ ۖ لَا يَضِلُّ رَبِّي وَلَا يَنْسَى
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-53


He (it is) Who has made the earth habitable for you, and made roads for you therein, and sent down water from the sky then We brought out through it various kinds of vegetation,

الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِنْ نَبَاتٍ شَتَّىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-54


(so that you may) eat and feed your cattle, certainly there are signs in that for possessors of sense. (R 2)

كُلُوا وَارْعَوْا أَنْعَامَكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي النُّهَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-55


From the (earth) We created you and into it We will return you and from it We will bring you out a second time.

مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-56


And We showed him (Firawn) all Our signs but he denied and refused.

وَلَقَدْ أَرَيْنَاهُ آيَاتِنَا كُلَّهَا فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-57


He said, “”Have you come to drive us out from our land through your magic, O Musa?

قَالَ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتُخْرِجَنَا مِنْ أَرْضِنَا بِسِحْرِكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-58


So we too will definitely produce before you magic similar to it, therefore let there be an appointment between us and you which we shall not break, neither we nor you, at a (neutral) place (where both have) equal (opportunity of victory).””

فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَ بِسِحْرٍ مِثْلِهِ فَاجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَا نُخْلِفُهُ نَحْنُ وَلَا أَنْتَ مَكَانًا سُوًى
“Same to Verse No.9”

20-59


He said, “”Your appointment is on the day of adornment (festival) and let the people gather (before) noon.””

قَالَ مَوْعِدُكُمْ يَوْمُ الزِّينَةِ وَأَنْ يُحْشَرَ النَّاسُ ضُحًى
“Same to Verse No.9”
