List Of Sura's

Al-An’am (The Cattle)

6-40

Say, “”Have you considered, if the punishment of Allah comes upon you or the hour of doom comes upon you, (then) will you pray (for help) to someone other than Allah, if you are truthful?””

In the event of natural calamities we pray only to Allah (SWT) and He alone can give relief, if He wills.

6-41

No! you will pray to Him alone, then He will remove that for which you prayed to Him, if He wills, and you will forget those whom you used to associate as partners (with Allah). (R 4)

“Same to Verse No.40”

6-42

Details of the procedure followed in the case of the communities which rejected the messengers of Allah (SWT) are given.

6-43

Then why did they not humble themselves, when distress from Us came to them? On the contrary, their hearts hardened and the devil made fair seeming to them, that which they did.

“Same to Verse No.42”

6-44

So when they forgot that with which they were admonished, We opened for them the gates of everything, until, while they were rejoicing in that which was given to them, We suddenly caught them, so then they were in utter despair.

“Same to Verse No.42”

6-45

So the root of the people who were unjust was cut off. And praise is due only for Allah, the Fosterer of the worlds.

“Same to Verse No.42”

6-46

Say, “”Have you considered, if Allah were to take away your hearing and your sight and set a seal on your hearts, who is the god other than Allah who could bring them (back) to you?”” See how We repeat the signs (for their understanding), even then they turn away.

If Allah (SWT) takes away our senses no one can return them.

6-47

Say, “”Have you considered, if the punishment of Allah comes to you suddenly or openly, will anyone else be destroyed except the unjust people?””

Only unjust people are punished.

6-48

And We do not send the messengers except as conveyers of good news and warners, so whoever believes and does righteous works, then there will neither be any fear on them nor will they grieve.

Believers doing righteous work will be peaceful and the infidels will be punished.

6-49

“Same to Verse No.48”

6-50

Say, “”I do not say to you that with me are treasures of Allah nor that I know the unseen, and I do not say to you that I am an angel. I do not follow anything except that which is communicated to me.”” Say, “”Are the blind and the seeing equal, then why do you not reflect?”” (R 5)

When Prophet Muhammed (PBH) was not given knowledge of the unseen how can others claim that they know the unseen, specially the future?

6-51

And warn through the (Quran) those who fear that they will be gathered towards their Fosterer, there will be no guardian for them besides Him and there will be no mediator, that they may guard (themselves against evil).

The Quran is to be used for warning.

6-52

And do not drive away those who pray to their Fosterer in the morning and the evening intending (to seek) His Attention, you are not accountable for them in anything and they are not accountable for you in anything, so that (by) your driving them away you become (one) of the unjust.

It appears that due to the poor Muslims in the company of Prophet Muhammed (PBH), the rich people hesitated to come to him. They had probably requested Prophet Muhammed (PBH) to send these poor Muslims away expressing their surprise that Allah (SWT) had favoured the poor over the rich in guidance. Allah (SWT) orders not to drive away these poor Muslims but to pray for their peace and inform them of His mercy, so that the result of those who do not obey the orders of Allah (SWT) may become clear.

6-53

And thus do We test some of them through others, so that they say, “”Are these the persons upon whom Allah has showered His favour from among us?”” Is not Allah the Best Knower of those who are grateful?

“Same to Verse No.52”

6-56

Say, “”I am forbidden to serve, those whom you pray to, besides Allah,”” Say, “”I will not follow your desires, (and in case I did) then indeed I would go astray and I would not be of those who are guided.””

The polytheists are addressed and informed that the punishment of their sins is in the control of Allah (SWT). Had it been in the hands of Prophet Muhammed (PBH) then their affair would have been decided.

6-57

Say, “”I am on a clear proof from my Fosterer, whereas you deny it. (The punishment) which you want to be hastened is not with me, the decision (to bring it about) is with none but Allah. He narrates the truth and He is the Best of judges.””

“Same to Verse No.56”

6-58

Say, “”Had (the punishment) which you want to be hastened been with me, then the affair between me and you would have been decided, and Allah knows best those who are unjust.””

“Same to Verse No.56”

6-59

Perfection of the knowledge of Allah (SWT) is described.
