4-140
And He has sent down (instructions) for you through the book, that when you hear the signs of Allah being rejected and mocked at, then do not sit with them till they get involved in some issue other than that, otherwise you (too) will become like them. Allah will certainly gather all the hypocrites and the infidels in hell.
Believers are ordered to avoid the company of those who reject and mock at the Quran.
4-141
(There are) those who wait for you, so if you get a victory from Allah, they say, “”Were we not with you?”” And if the share (of victory) is for the infidels, they say (to the infidels), “”Did we not have mastery over you and protect you from the believers?”” So Allah will judge between you on the day of resurrection. And Allah will not give the infidels a way (of dominance) over the believers. (R 20)
The behavior of hypocrites and the result of it is mentioned and it is clearly stated that infidels will not dominate the believers. If at some places infidels are dominating the believers, then there is something wrong with the believers because the Quran cannot be wrong. Again believers are warned not to take infidels as friends instead of believers.
4-147
What will Allah do (gain) by punishing you if you gratefully (acknowledge Him) and believe? And Allah is One Who acknowledges, Knowing. (P 5)
If one acknowledges and believes in Allah (SWT) He too acknowledges it because He has knowledge of everything, Allah (SWT) does not punish such persons.
4-148
Allah does not like manifest evil in speech, except (from) one to whom injustice was done, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
One should not speak ill about others except when injustice is done to him. If one pardons such an injustice, exposing this good act or hiding it, Allah (SWT) knows it and He too pardons as He has power over everything.
4-150
Those who do not believe in Allah and His messengers and intend to make a distinction between Allah and His messengers and say, “”We believe in some and we do not believe in others,”” and intend to adopt a way in between that,
We are to believe in all the messengers of Allah (SWT) for which there is a reward. If one believes in some and rejects other messengers, as some Jews and Christians did,he is liable to be punished.
4-153
The owners of the book demand from you that you should bring down a book on them, from the sky. They had demanded of Musa (something) greater than that, they said, “”Show us Allah openly.”” Therefore due to their injustice, the thunder-bolt took (hold of) them. Then they took the calf (for worship), after clear signs had come to them, but We pardoned (even) that and We gave Musa clear authority.
The Owners of the book always demanded for miraculous things for believing in Divine revelations and messengers of Allah (SWT). They had seen miracles during the period of Musa (PBH) even then they had disobeyed. They were punished for their infidelity and due to their false charges on Maryam (PBH) and Isa (PBH) that they had killed him. It is clearly mentioned here that the person crucified resembled Isa (PBH). Isa (PBH) was not killed or crucified but he was raised towards Allah (SWT) and he will be sent back before the day of resurrection when all the owners of Divine books will believe in him before his (i.e. Isa’s PBH) death. Isa (PBH) will die after he is sent back to this world before its end.
